Job description

The team “RNA, Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis”, led by Albertas Navickas, has been recently established at Institut Curie, in the “Genome Integrity, RNA and Cancer” (UMR3348) department in Orsay. We focus on the gene regulatory networks promoting the establishment of the metastatic niche. For this, we combine single cell genomics with the tissue modelling ex vivo using human stem cell-derived organoids. More information is accessible at

We are looking to hire a bioinformatics engineer to participate in various projects of the lab, under the direct supervision of the PI, and in collaboration with the Bioinformatics core of Institut Curie. The position will be based in Orsay, with regular meetings and trainings in Paris.

  • Analysis of lineage tracing data, including at a single-cell resolution
  • Analysis of bulk RNA-seq data, and other sequencing-based approaches (3’-end RNA-seq, CLIP-seq, miCLIP-seq, DRIP-seq, etc.): differential gene expression, gene set enrichment analysis, peak calling, DNA/RNA motif analysis, etc.
  • Analysis of clinical data (TCGA and other databases, regression analysis, multivariate hazard models, etc.).
